The World Tour is Planned and We are Out-of-Here

Hello world, we now have 2 months left of being in Canada before we leave for a year long tour! Plans are being finalized, shots are being done, and our affairs are being put in order.

Laura and I have roughed out a year long itinerary to travel the world, staying at B&B's, Hostels, and AIRBNB/VRBO accommodations. Over the coming months we will be posting the actual journey and at the end lets see how close the plan was versus actual. In addition to our location, we will posting on a daily basis (we hope) our experiences for the day as well as the food we experience, the people we meet, and the sites we visit.

There are a number of festivals and such that we want to go to (can you say Oktoberfest), but depending on how well we adapt to life on the road, we will see. As well as the itinerary posted, we have an estimated budget on where we are going and the cost of living. This doesn't include nick-knacks and the like that we pick up abroad and ship home. We expect to be under in Asia and South America and over in Europe. There are some big ticket items we want to do as well, so we are considering it a guideline only.

The farther out the legs of our journey, the fuzzier our math and dates. With our friends and relatives, if there is a location that is of interest to you in the general vicinity, give us some notice and we will meet you there and I can book larger accommodations (VRBO, AIRBNB, etc).

Over the coming weeks I will be posting on our experiences getting ready (like what camera to bring....tough decision)
